Exploring Teacher Knowledge in Natural Sciences

This is a qualitative interpretative case study. Its aim to explore the teacher knowledge of senior phase Natural Sciences teachers. The following question guided study: What nature natural sciences teachers in phase? Semi structured interviews and observations were used collect data from three purposefully sampled participants. findings reveal that have limited content inadequate subject matter this enflamed misconception which could be transferred their learners. It therefore prudent recommend re-focus in-service training colleges Education improve teacher’s pedagogical as they barrier effective teaching learning learner’s performance Sciences.
